Original Paintings by Donald Bayley
Don was born in Birmingham and studied at the Birmingham School of Art. After marrying Inger in Denmark , he moved to Sutton Coldfield. A former Industrial designer, he taught art at a private school in the Cotswold and also at Leyhill prison. Two exhibitions in the south of England proved to be very successful and also at the Real Art Gallery in Shrewsbury . He now lives in Stone, where he moved in 1975. He is a former member of the Birmingham Watercolour Society and currently a member of the Staffordshire Artists Society.
Inspiration is drawn from the Lake District and Northumberland and any wild landscape. He always retains a love for the Cotswold and Cornwall
