Bryant Cortis
A Cornishman, he studied Art 1953-56 at St. Ives with Leonard Fuller, and then
entered National Service, during which time he married and went to live in
Yorkshire where painting in the Dales, he developed his distinctive Impressionist
Watercolour style.
Returning to his Native Cornwall in 1973 he began painting professionally.
His paintings have been exhibited at the RI, The Royal West of England Academy,
Two Television South West open Exhibitions and Falmouth Art Gallery, where one of
his Paintings was chosen to be hung in The Dept. of Trade and Industry.
His work in watercolour and oils, is in private collections in the UK, Australia, and
Europe.
