David Alderman

David Alderman Salford School of Art 1960s before embarking on a career in design. It is only in recent years that David has returned to painting, his intricate detailed sketchbooks revealing a layered acrylics  passion for drawing which stretches back to his students days.  Now living and working in The Manchester area, David’s multi-layered acrylics capture the essence of the changing landscape and cityscape of the North West of England in a new Millennium.

David’s work principally finds favour with collectors of Northern Art although his popular series of countryside scenes reflect his interest in a range of subjects, thus belying any attempt tp categorise his work too narrowly. His work is to be found in the collections of public figures and diverse examples of which can be found in collections throughout Europe.
