Stuart Dalby

Stuart grew up amongst practising artists and after school attended Kidderminster art college for three year. Here he served an of industrial apprenticeship where he was to become a fully fledged carpet designer he trained as a an artist.

He progressed from apprentice to designer of chief designer and then left the industry in 1979.

Since 1980 he worked for The Birminghma museum and Art gallery as head of design and then as project manager for all new interior developments.

He is now painting fulltime and is a passed licentiate member of the Society of Industrial Artists and designers. His work is now being exhibited in several galleries in the North and central parts of England.
