Viv Luxton [MA.Arts RCA] trained at St. Martin"s School of Art, London,  and did her post-grad at the RCA School of film & TV. She spent  several years in the film industry, before moving to the country and  teaching art for 17 years. In 1992, she and her husband moved to mid  Wales to farm, and to paint. The farming way of life often features in  her work. She likes to paint people in all walks of life, at work or at  leisure, and there is often humour in her depictions. She has  exhibited at the R.A., the R.W.A,, and at many galleries in the U.K. Her work is in public collections as well as private. (See The BBC on line public collection).
