Herbert St John Jones (1870 - 1939)

Herbert St John Jones was born in Nantwich, Cheshire . He has an excellent reputation in the UK for painting animals and local scenes, which are held in many private collections locally. His studio was on the corner of Hospital Street, adjoining the square where he painted his prolific amount of oil and watercolour painting, which were commissioned by people such as King Edward VII, Lord Gough, the Duke and Duchess of Westminster, Baron William von Schroeder of the Rookery Worleston
