John Mould was born and still lives in Barlaston, Staffordshire He is self-taught and paints female forms and wildlife in oils, acrylics, and pastels. He has been a professional artist for 30 years.
It all began with his love of nature, which inspired him to paint these subjects which so interest him. His main focus and the story behind his paintings is the eyes. Once he has got these right, the rest of the painting follows. We live in a world that is constantly changing, we are all affected by change and he is no exception, so his style, materials and subject matter are always changing.
